GROWTH HABIT: This is an annual, 1 to 3 feet in height.

LEAVES: Leaves are alternate, simple, entire, clasping at the base of the stem. Pub essence is either forked or stellate.

STEMS:

FLOWER: Flowers are in racemes; petals are pale yellow with fruit pod having several reddish- brown seeds in each chamber.

ROOTS:

SEEDS: Reddish-brown seeds.

OTHER: Smallseed falseflax was introduced from Europe. It is found on disturbed sites such as fields, roadsides and waste places. It is frequently brought into a new area with feeds. Smallseed falseflax produces seeds from late spring to early summer.
