Woodpeckers can cause considerable damage to wood-framed homes, barns, livestock sheds, utility poles, and fences. This bulletin shows how property damage can be prevented, reduced, and/or controlled by using several non-lethal techniques such as exclusion, visual/sound repellent, alternative construction materials, and attractive lure feeding.
