Educator joins Converse County CES office

            Ryan Rapp will join the Converse County University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service office May 1 as an extension educator.

            Rapp will provide educational programming in Profitable and Sustainable Agriculture Systems with emphasis on forage crops for Converse, Natrona and Niobrara counties.

            Rapp, a native of Lusk, has been working as a temporary forage specialist with CES since Sept. 27. Rapp received a bachelor’s degree from UW in agroecology with a minor in horticulture and has completed his master’s degree in agronomy.

            “In addition to his agriculture education, Rapp is an 11-year 4-H alumnus from Niobrara County,” said Susan James, federal relations and staff development coordinator for CES. “We are excited to have Ryan join Converse County and the Converse, Natrona and Niobrara counties area team.”
