UW presents commercial pesticide applicator short course

 

            A commercial pesticide applicator short course is Dec. 12-15 on the University of Wyoming campus.

            The course is 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Dec. 12-14, and 7 a.m. to noon Dec. 15 at the UW Beta House.

            Registration is by preregistration only and is limited to 70 participants. For registration information, call 1-877-733-3618, ext. 2, or (307) 766-5249.

            The course is sponsored by the UW Cooperative Extension Service, the College of Agriculture, the Department of Plant Sciences, the Wyoming Department of Agriculture, and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

            Fee for the program is $120 and includes one hour of UW undergraduate college credit. A pesticide manual is available for $30, which contains materials pertaining to the commercial pesticide applicator short course. Manuals may be purchased prior to or at the initial course in Laramie.
