nutrition program educator joins Wind River Indian Reservation office
Jacqueline Hauptman has joined the Wind River Indian Reservation University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service office as a Cent$ible Nutrition Program (CNP) nutrition educator.
CNP teaches people to eat more sensibly on a budget.
Hauptman received a bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 1989, and a master’s degree in biology from Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Ga., in 1995.
“I have an interest in healthy, wholesome eating and a desire to work with a variety of people,” she said.
She will help teach low-income families how to eat better for less.
“I’m excited to work with cooperative extension, which provides research-based information for residents on the Wind River Reservation,” said Hauptman.
Hauptman can be reached at (307) 332-1030.
