UW nutrition program educator serves Natrona County

 

            Carol Gifford has been named the University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service (UW CES) Centi$ible Nutrition Program (CNP) educator for Natrona County.

            CNP teaches people to eat more sensibly on a budget.

            “I am so excited to be able to go out and actually work with the public and help families and individuals learn about healthy eating choices,” said Gifford, who is a 19-year employee of the UW CES.

            CNP is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Stamp Program.

            Originally from Upton, Gifford moved to Casper and received an associate’s degree in business from Casper College and is working toward a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
