            UW offers financial management class in Laramie

            Adults who want to better manage their financial resources are invited to attend a two-hour financial management class in Laramie offered by the University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service (UW CES).

            The class is 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10, at the Albany County CES office at the Albany County Fairgrounds, a mile south of Laramie on U.S. Highway 287.

            “If you have filed bankruptcy, you are required to take a debtor education course before your bankruptcy is discharged,” said Cole Ehmke, a personal finance management specialist with the UW CES. “This class satisfies the requirement.”

            Participants are asked to bring their bankruptcy case number and a photograph ID.

            Registration is required. The cost per household is $25, which can be paid at the door.
