UW offers financial management class in Sheridan

            Those wanting to better manage their financial resources are invited to attend a two-hour financial management class in Sheridan offered by the University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service (UW CES).

            The class is 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at the Sheridan County Courthouse meeting room.  Registration is required by March 6.

          Those who have filed bankruptcy are required to take a debtor education course before the bankruptcy is discharged. This class satisfies the requirement.

            Participants will learn budget development, money-management skills, wise use of credit and consumer assistance and protection.

             The cost per household is $25, which can be paid at the door, but no one will be refused participation if unable to pay. They may request a reduced fee or fee exemption.
