UW offers financial management class in Gillette for those in bankruptcy
Households going through bankruptcy under the latest law must complete a short class in household financial management before the bankruptcy court will complete the process.
A certified class for those who have filed bankruptcy and are required to attend is being offered by the University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service (UW CES) 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, in the Belle Fourche room of the Campbell County UW CES office.
The office is in Gillette at 1000 S. Douglas Highway, Suite A.
Those required to take a certified financial management course to complete a bankruptcy process are invited to attend this two- to three-hour class, said Bill Taylor, UW CES educator for Campbell, Crook and Weston counties. The cost of the class is $20 and is required at the door. Participants are asked to bring a picture identification to establish identity.
For more information, contact Taylor at (307) 746-3531.
